Wanderers of the Wastes

This is my first solo game project, and it is a turn-based card game, founded upon playing as two characters working as a team against a single enemy. There are 13 levels and 6 different playable characters.

Pressing New Game will reset your unlock data, press Level Select instead if you want to keep it.

To unlock more characters, you'll have to beat their boss encounters in the game.

The game takes place in a fictional fantasy world where the remnants of three dead gods taint the land with their ancient energy. Many people go to visit the remnants in hopes of gaining some of their power. The people who succeed in gaining this power are known as Wanderers. However, some sort of new presence has prevented the power of the remnants from being attainable, likely tied to the increased number of Remnant Stalkers surrounding them. Remnant Stalkers are what becomes of those who fail to properly take in the power of the remnants, becoming corrupted beasts.

This build contains a button that allows you to instantly unlock everything so you can test out different characters and levels as you wish. If I were to develop this project further, I would remove it, but for now go wild.

The provided video is a bit old, the game has been updated since then with many quality-of-life features and bug fixes, as well as additional content.

All third-party assets used are part of either free font resources, the Unreal marketplace, or Epidemic Sound.
